AXS Digital · App development
We take an idea — or a spreadsheet, or a process held together by phone calls — and turn it into software your customers and your staff actually want to open. One team for design, build, launch and support.
Web applications
Nothing to install, works on every device, updates the moment we ship it. The browser is still the fastest route from an idea to something your customers can use.
Mobile apps
A phone app is not a website in a smaller window. It should feel native, work on a bad signal, and use the hardware in your pocket. We build cross-platform so one codebase serves both stores — and go fully native when a project earns it.
Beyond the app itself
Connecting your new software to the systems you already pay for, so data moves by itself.
Inherited something half-finished or a decade old? We audit it honestly and tell you whether to repair or replace.
Someone has to own uptime, backups and patches. That can be us.
The process
The reason software projects go wrong is almost never the code. It is a scope nobody wrote down and a client who does not see the thing until it is finished. We remove both.
A working session where we map every screen, rule and edge case. You get a written scope and a fixed price — and you own that document whether you hire us or not.
Every screen designed and wired into a clickable prototype you can hand to a real user before we write production code. Changes here cost minutes.
Two-week cycles. At the end of each one there is a link you can open on your own phone. You steer, and you always know what is coming next.
Release, App Store and Google Play submission, analytics, monitoring and a real launch plan — not just a deployment.
Stay with us on a support agreement, or take the keys: source code, accounts, documentation and a walkthrough for your own team. No lock-in either way.
Ways to work with us
You know what you need. We scope it, price it and deliver it for that number.
A monthly retainer for a product that keeps evolving. Continuous design, build and release.
A fixed-fee review of software you already own, with a plain-English report and options.
Not sure which one? Tell us the problem and we will tell you honestly — including when the answer is an off-the-shelf tool instead of a custom build.
Technology
We choose tools your next developer will already know. No exotic frameworks chosen to make our lives interesting at the expense of yours.
Questions
It depends entirely on scope, and anyone who quotes you before understanding yours is guessing. As a rough guide: a focused web app or a straightforward phone app usually lands in the low tens of thousands; a full product with accounts, payments, an admin system and both app stores is a larger program. We will give you a real number after the scoping session — and the scope document is yours to shop around with.
Most first versions run six to twenty weeks from kickoff to launch. Add one to two weeks for App Store and Google Play review on mobile. You will see working software every two weeks throughout, so progress is never a matter of trust.
Often not, and we will say so. If your users come once a month, the web is cheaper and better. If they use it daily, need notifications, work offline or need the camera, a phone app earns its place. Many of our clients start with the web app and add mobile once the product has proven itself.
You do — outright, on final payment. That includes the source code, the accounts it runs on and the documentation. We do not hold clients hostage; if you want to move to another developer we will help with the handover.
Yes. We regularly build alongside an in-house team, and integrating with systems you already run — accounting, CRM, ERP, warehouse and shipping platforms — is a large part of what we do.
Software is never finished; it is either maintained or it rots. Operating systems change, dependencies need patching, and real users find things no test did. You can put us on a monthly support agreement, call us as needed, or take it fully in-house. All three are fine.
Send over what you have — a paragraph, a sketch, a competitor you like. We will come back with honest questions and a sense of size within one business day.
